Its obvious the dealership who did the oil change has no clue in the proper procedure for a Corvette with dry sump. I would avoid them in the future for any kind of work - if they screwed up a simple task like an oil change, what will they do when something more comllicated needs to be done?
I agree you should have another, better qualified, dealer inspect the car carefully. It doesn't have to be the selling dealer just one who knows how to service Corvettes!
