I don't expect the top-of-the line Camaro to cost much less than $40K if at all. That is also considering about 2 more years of inflation before I buy one.
So my limit will be in the $40K-$45K range, but that will also depend on how much dealers are asking over MSRP. If the top dog Camaro MSRPs for $38K, but they want $42K forget it.
I managed to get my 2005 GT in 2005 for $28.5K with every known option for the coupe. I was lucky because that was when they were really new and popular, and my car had just been delivered to the dealership a few hours prior. I was the first person to even test drive it.
