I think the intent was to show the range of choices available to customers of the big threes "muscle cars"....I mean, if Ford had a track only car similar to the Z/28 they might have shown it and then a ZL1 or 1le from Chevy...
I agree the Z/28 was the "odd-ball".....I believe the Fords and Dodges will be produced like hot-cakes, whereas the Z/28 is limited in numbers produced....
Overall it was a good, informative overview of the top three cars from each maker...
