Again, I agree completely. Seriously, I like your way of thinking...
I've never wanted a soft top vert...I've seen so many have the tops cut and would never want to see my vert end up like that. I'd take a removable hard top panel (like the vette) or a hard top vert w/out hesitation. The main thing is the importance of keeping the coupes lines and w/ a hard top, you can still do that getting the best of both worlds. Sure, it's a little extra weight, but toss on some headers and the added weight is cancelled out.
