Especially after all the other dealers couldn't "guarantee" me anything within the next six months.

I ordered mine from them, they told me the same thing as far as timing goes (Late September / Early October) but I ordered mine July 4th weekend and im currently at 3000 status. If the dealership still has allocation, you may still be able to get the car. Bob apparently has been selling vettes for a long time there, so I would trust him for what its worth.
