Great question - wouldn't think so. Since GM claims the aluminum frame is stiffer than the steel one, shouldn't be a significant difference. Wreck it hard enough to bend either one, the car will probably be declared a loss and written off as totaled. As far as your insurance company is concerned, a total is a total. Sell if off for parts or scrap.
