I am new here. I recently traded my 2010 Camaro 2LT for a 2014 1SS, I also made the switch from an automatic to a standard. The only problem that I have with the car is that I hate that sometimes it wants me to shift from 1st gear into 4th gear. I understand that it is trying to help me save fuel but I bought a v8 so I am not as concerned with fuel usage. I guess what I am wondering is if there is a way that I can turn off that feature. I looked at the manual and it says to just do the shift to avoid damaging transmission. Typically I just get on the gas a little harder to get above 2000 rpm and that's how I avoid it. Is there a chip I can buy or a way to bypass the annoying 1st to 4th shift? sorry if this post has been done before, I couldn't find it :/ thanks for the help
