I ordered my[B] [B]C7 (3LT, Z51, Torch Red, Black Wheels and Red Calipers) last June, and "immediately" received the assigned order #, and status code (3000). I was able to check on the status through most of September (status remained the same) and suddenly, the website basically stopped working. As suggested, I sent an email to the address indicated for "FAQ's" and got a response to the effect that the status had not changed, and encouraged me to wait patiently and/or consult with my dealer.
Well, I waited (impatiently) until this past week, until I finally found a very responsive dealer Sales Manager, who was able to contact the "right" people at GM, and was able to come up with some very good news:
My C7 is now being built the hold-up being a shortage of carbon fiber roofs. He (the Sales Manager) told me that from his past experience, the actual delivery should be in 4-6 weeks.
BY the way I have a 2008 Yellow Coupe, 6Sp, with chrome wheels,
just over 10K miles, and a transferable extended warranty, that I will have to sell or trade-in.
