My older brother always had great rides including a 66 427 burgundy 427 4spd roadster back in the 60's. I always loved great cars but 50 buck gigs and stints on the road never would allow it financially. He passed recently and he always knew of my love for performance cars whenever we were together he would toss me the keys to his latest ride and let me drive. His last 2 were Infinity sports coupes. A few weeks before his death I started receiving Car & Driver in the mail he had subscribed me and every issue was about the new Vette (7) I think he was trying to prime me for through his kindness I can afford to own one now of course it will be Crystal red metallic being the closest to his old 427 color.
How very loving and nice of your brother!

That's very responsible, actually! The "yolo" people who annoy me are those who have to worry about "Is there any way I can manage paying another $50/month", and their answer is YOLO!

I've had vettes all but a few years since I was 21. That was in 1981, and I was one of the younger vette club members. I've had them so long now, I'm in the middle aged crowd. LOL
