I too will order my 5th Gen., specifically with what I want, as well as in the color
I want. IMO, I'm the one who will be enjoying it, and I'll want it in a color I enjoy also.
I can see why some will order/buy their car in the least popular color, but from what I've seen with the 4th Gens., having a unique color doesn't make that much of a difference, re; higher collectability. IMO, what makes it more highly collectable are the special models, re; Berger, Tom Henry, GMMG models, etc. That is why I'll most likely wait at least a year after they hit dealer showrooms. I want to see what special Camaro's arrive and then base my decision on whether to order a Z or SS from a dealer, or look at a Tom Henry, etc.
Either way, I don't plan on selling it, so to me, which will be more collectable is a moot point. I'm going to enjoy the heck out of it.
