I'd say this for any brand and car. I'd buy a factory back extended warranty for as long of years / miles you are planning on keeping it. Negotiate like $100 or $200 over cost (or cost if you can) since it's just some key strokes for the dealer.

With the price of electronic steering racks, fancy radio stuff, PDR, HUD, along with the normal stuff to go wrong, it is cheap insurance. Plus, if you sell, trade, wreck, or whatever the car, you can get a direct pro-rated amount back minus a small admin fee.
