Well, our summers do suck but it rarely gets below freezing down here, so I guess there is a plus when it comes to year round driving time I'll get.

When demand exceeds the supply, somebody has to go without. Most of the ZL1s that would get sold in the north during the winter would get parked until spring anyways. But every car that goes to a dealership in the north is one car that
doesn't get sent south -where it could be driven & enjoyed. Personally, I wouldn't even bother trying to order such a car from between the beginning of October & the end of February. Sure, I could get winter rims and snow tires for my brand new car ... but that doesn't keep it safe from salt & crap every time its driven.
