I am not trying to be little the 2016 Camaro, i am probably going to buy one pretty soon. But the price difference between a Mustang GT and the Camaro SS is nothing to be overlooked when comparing the cars as it is not a "small" difference.
You can compare what ever you want. I'm sure we will see an SS vs M4 compro at some point. That doesn't mean people are cross shopping them. The SS and GT350 are very different cars. If it was a loaded SS 1LE vs the GT350, I would agree with you. I own a 1LE and I am interested in the GT350. That doesn't change the fact the GT350 is still a few thousand more than my 1LE was and its a decently optioned 2SS.


As for the SS vs GT MSRP, I believe GM includes destination while Ford does not, so the MSRP difference is 3k, not 4k.
