You are correct - the V4 valves are separate from the NPP valves ans ALL Stingrays have them. The V4 units are located above and forward of the rear axle, the NPP units are located to the rear of the mufflers, and can actually be seen by looking into the exhaust tips. As your car did not have the NPP system from the factory, you will not have the wiring and programming for it. As a result, what you hear is what you get.
