Where is the handicap? The tires? You can easily sell the rims/tires for what you pay for the 1LE package.
Every part the 1LE adds is a stronger/better performing piece than what it replaces. The 1LE transmission is rated for 500 lbft of torque vs 430 in your car. Fuel pump rated for 600+ horsepower. There is no drawback to the 1LE.
