If you still have the problem that means that they put the old lifter design back in the engine. This ocurrence is from oil bleed down in the lifter after the car is shut off for two or more hours the oil bleeds out of the lifter and then takes awhile to refill and compress therefore the tapping noise at startup. The new design of lifter eliminates this problem. My dealer was great after I showed him the TSB, old ones out, new ones in in one day. They preordered the parts. Find a quality dealer who knows what they are doing and ask them about the experience of the guy or gal working on your ewngine before you let them open her up. The mechanic who did mine used to rebuild racing engines so I knew he would do it right.
