Track mode actually felt little a delayed on the throttle response, which I found odd.

I don't like sport mode throttle. It is regressive, meaning that later on in the travel, it doesn't do much. It's intended to give you "more" without having to push further, but IME it overdoes it and makes it hard to put down power at the limit, since it gives so much. Track is far better IME, it's linear. It feels like the engine has more to give up high.
