We should be blaming all the poser guys who are buying heavy, V8 powered pickup trucks when they don't need one (aren't a farmer or a construction worker who frequently need to haul lots of stuff; they just want to look cool). In effect those guys are wasting V8s. Those V8s would be better allocated into a lighter weight vehicle (Camaro, etc) where the thrust to weight ratio can provide better enjoyment.
