So far so good. Drove it another 2 hours and no more p228C engine code.

This makes me wonder if there's a bit of water in the tank as I have worked on the fuel system several times and left the low pressure fuel line open for days at a time.

Added a bottle of Iso-Heet and topped off the tank with top tier premium gas from Shell to get some good detergents running through the fuel system to clean it up.

Going to run this tank then fill it back up with E85 and see if that stops the p228c code.

It was coming on every 5 min and now it doesn't come on at all. I'll report back for others to use as a reference if they get this issue with E85. As I said, I've run it for years with no issues up until recently. Of note, it's winter here in Denver and I park it in a garage.
