I'm also in the making of putting LLT heads on an LFX block. I'm told from the LFX/LLT guru Tracy that this is possible and that you will end result have more gains being the LLT heads can be ported. You can put larger valves on the LLT heads but it will be the same size as the LFX valves being the LFX valves are larger to begin with. Currently myself personally i'm having a set of LLT heads being ported and get larger valves with 5 angle valve grind and Mace cams. Once I install them on the motor and check my clearances i'll let you guy's know if everything checks out. I went this route due to the LFX you literally can't do anything to them and no machine shop will dare tackle the integrated exhaust manifold style.
