Considering that it is light weight, has 495 HP, and has the advantages of mid/rear engine, I'd assume that it would not fall on it's face after 60. The C7s pull strong and they will definitely be slower than the C8. But it still is not gonna pull like a Hellcat does. Nor will it pull like a ZL1 for that matter. I think it might be close since 1,000 pounds (compared to the Hellcat) and 500+ pounds (compared to the ZL1) is a lot of weight savings. So I wonder exactly how fast it'll be in a roll...
Trap speeds will be a good comparison for how a car pulls at the big end. I'd estimate the Z51 C8 will trap around 122 mph in the 1/4 mile in the magazine tests. ZL1 is 124-125 mph. So, yes, the C8 won't pull as hard once traction is no longer an issue, but it won't be slow. I also think it will be slightly faster e.t. than the ZL1 (11.5 C&D) simply because of the 0-60 time being so stellar. And yeah, the C8 will be probably around 400 lbs lighter than the ZL1.

Looking back...the 2006 C6 Z06 trapped 127.1 mph in MT's first test, but that car was 505 hp and weighed only 3,147 lbs. Crazy fast for a 13 year old factory Corvette. By the way, that's the same trap speed C&D got with a C7 Z06.
