Oil change techs making up their own rules is precisely the reason that I will be the only one changing my oil. My dealer offers double (4) included initial maintenance visits.

Lifting from the wrong lift points is just that...wrong. While this is informative regarding oil changes and oil...owners need to know this is the wrong way to lift there investments per the manufacture. That way when they see something like this happening it can be corrected or prevented before damage occurs. I realize the OP just wants this to be an oil change thread but from my humble perspective it’s related. Too many forum users went in for an oil change, got a ZL1 lifted like this and came home with damage.
