I'm doing cam/headers to the car and will be to loud with borla exhaust system so i need the oem to quiet down with valves. The borla system that i have has valves deleted.

it will for me and has for many others but if you are strict about this then keep your stock headers, like the other member said only longtubeheaders are worth the switch.

I daily my ss and love it. Only downside is constant tire change and rotor/brake pad replacement but that comes with the territory for a sports car I suppose. Overall great daily driver.
