Battery drain issue with V-Land tail lights

Hi all. I fitted the v-land tail lights with the sequential indicators a while back and I noticed they are causing my battery to drain completely flat if I leave the car standing for 5 days or more....

I didn't disconnect the battery. I would guesstimate the ECU adjusted to the changes pretty quickly-within the first 50 miles.

Forgot to mention in my OP, my car is a 2018 2SS (Euro spec) A8.
