Angry middle screen

My digital screen that shows the MPH is almost gone. Has anyone had this problem and how much does it cost to fix. Speedo and tach are working. Just can't read any other info on the screen.

Mine was making a weird noise. Took the car to the Chevy dealer and they said I needed a differential assembly. GM doesn't make them anymore, so I'm kinda screwed.
