Camaro in storage…Battery?

I’m looking to purchase a Camaro and where I’ll be storing it there are no outlets. How easy is it to remove and replace the battery so I can trickle charge it?

Thanks

Open the trunk, remove the spare (if it has one). Remove the cables and battery hold-down. Out she comes. Nothing drastic.

Just don't close the trunk when you're done or you'll have to let the back seat down and then get a child to crawl through the tiny opening to pull the handle to open it back.

Thank you. The Vette is much more difficult.

Battery is easy to remove/replace.

Alternately, you can install a disconnect like this one.

And yeah, prop the trunk open or you'll need 12v power on the jump posts under the hood to push the button.

If possible, I'd look into an inexpensive solar powered battery maintainer. Might be less hassle than removing the battery...I've never used one, but they may be worthwhile....Good luck.

Remove the carpet, remove the battery well cover, it's held down by a big plastic knob, under there you will find a foam liner with an air pump, a can of fix a flat, or a spare if someone has updated that, remove it all, then disconnect the cables, hold down bracket, and you're done.
