13 Attachment(s)
Iroc z hood by 6LE test fitted. Took a while, but happy it finally arrived. Quality is great and fits perfectly. It's already been thru the FL thunderstorms. Paint is being scheduled, and will be updated then.

UPDATED - back from paint, color matched and turned out great.

You have to bring it out some Wednesday once it's painted so we can check it out! It looks good so far man.

I've been anxious to get out there again. I've had so much going on and wednesdays are hard for me as it is. You all are a fun group and look forward to meeting up with you all again, hopefully sooner than later.

no problems with it yet, keeping an eye on it. the louvers are over the strut mounts mostly, however the one side is over the intake area and the opposite side is over the fuse box. I may have to add some water sealant over a few things I added but I don't see it having any major issues. I've washed out the engine bay many times so I don't see how a little rain could affect it.

Love what you did with the black accents. Fitment wise though, it
Looks like the gaps are really big between the front bumper cover and the hood, no?

Many people had their issues, I wont speak for them. I waited 8 months for him to solve his problems, but I think he is good to go now. Underside is painted matte black.

Thanks. Fitment is good, not perfect. The gap is a hair bigger on the edges but fits the front just fine. The shadows and reflections make it look a little bigger but what it really is is that the stock hood is thin at the front point being that it is metal. This fiberglass is a little thicker and the scoop makes it look a little raised. The front tip doesn't sink in like the stock hood did because of its thickness so there is a bit of an edge on it. It's not extremely noticeable unless you try to inspect it for perfections. Most people will say it's a nice hood, looks great and walk away. Overall the quality and fitment is really good. The painter didn't have to put much prep work into it.

There's way too much going on with that hood. I'll just don't see the appeal of it just too "aftermarket" looking. Rest of the car looks great.

Looks great man! Love to see it in person if you get time one of these weeks!
