Has anyone tried a 345/30/19 on ZL1 1LE rears?

I have interest in this MPSS. Anyone on these?

Man that would look super beefy! Solid increase in contact patch for launching/straight line performance. It might induce slight under steer but you could always used the rear sway and front ride height adjustments to compensate.

FYI - for the road course, the Hoosier R7 345/30/19 is almost exactly the same size as the 325/30/19 G3R when mounted on a ZL1 1LE 12" rim. Hoosier's sizes are all of the map and not accurate on their website. The 325's are smaller than the 325 G3R, etc.

no but i'm at 325 going to 335 next time to try it opens a few more tire choices.. If I remember I saw the vipper Kumho available on the track version.. may of been another though

A 335 MPSS would be lovely. Michelin doesn’t make that size. :(

That’s why I want to stay with Michelin. I’ve been on Michelin MPSS since 2012. I might have to be the guy to run this 345 study.

My ACR with the Kumhos uses 295/25/19 front and 355/30/19 rear.

It’s priced low at tire rack. 286.13.

interesting question op.. nitto also makes nt05r in a 345/30r19...

from nitto

"P345/30R19 27.36" diameter 13.43" width 11.5-(12.0)-12.5 " wheel

so it definitely fits the wheel

from michelin

"345/30ZR19 27.2" diameter 13.8" width 11.5-12.5" wheel

hoosiers

"P345/30ZR19 26.8" diameter 14.1" width 12-13" wheel

STOCK Eagle F1 3R

"325/30ZR19 26.7" diameter 13" width 11-12.5" wheel

any one have any idea if there will be clearance issues with the car? we know these tires will fit the wheels no problem

URBAN LEGEND 12-09-2018 05:18 PM

I never got them. I wouldnt know.

Travis104 12-09-2018 05:45 PM

By the same thought process, do you think it’s possible to run a 325/30/19 on the front?
