Finally...

After dealing with constant issues on my 2011 including over 11 months of shop time since Jan 2013, a dealership employee causing over 11k worth of damage to my 2011, and many return trips to the body shop to make the car look as perfect as possible (Stretch, I know), it is all over.

My 2016 was delivered today. Once I hear back from the bank, I can make arrangements to pick her up. Now, if I can just get a private offer to pop up or something...

Nice car! What happened to the 11? How did an employee do 11K in damage?

Looks awesome! Now tell Al Sharpton to step back before he jacks it.

You could say that. I have a 98 Z28, and a 91 RS with a 5.7. I am getting ready to replace the transmission in the Z28, but the 91 needs a little more work at the moment. I will admit that the issues on the 2011 almost caused me to go to a Mustang or a Challenger. However, if this experience is similar, then I might not have a choice.

After the car was in the shop for 2 months while they were trying to fix the leaks, they called and said I could come pick it up. They found a bad seam in the water bag, and they trunk alignment was off and allowing water to come over and under the weatherstripping. When I got there, they showed me what all was done, and where the damage was on the old parts. While it was in the shop, they discovered a faulty ballast on the exhaust system and they had it replaced (there was an odd hissing sound when driving, and I asked them to look in to it). Since they had to put around 50 miles on it for testing and 3-4 hours of stationary running, they offered to put $20 in gas to make up for it. The employee left to take the car for gas, and I took care of the paper work. While he was gone, another employee rear ended the car with a brand new Silverado that was being gassed up for delivery. Personally, I think they were playing around while driving customer cars, but I do not have proof.

You can see my original post for follow up on the repair.

Wow, she's sexy. Great call on the interior...you should be proud to put that top down! Sorry about your other car.

LOL I thought the same thing. However, the whole place knows that it is mine and no one can touch it. They don't want a repeat.

My wife has that interior on her Charger, and I loved the look. It was either going to be a black or red car, but still have that interior package.
