Home sweet home.

I hope you realize everyone with slow Internet connection is gonna hate you from now on.

FenwickHockey65 01-22-2013 10:00 AM

Haha I fixed it.

guiLT 01-22-2013 10:04 AM

Now it feels so empty.

Thank god we didn't have this forum during T&R because all those pictures I uploaded during that time were huge.

FenwickHockey65 01-22-2013 10:40 AM

Do astronauts still get Corvettes?

Wonder who will get the first C7.

Look at that T-38 on side.

Well if I get to Florida with the Vette that picture is definitely happening.

Are those Talon T-38s armed? Just wondering since they also accompany the Space Shuttle during landings.

Envy 01-22-2013 12:58 PM

Thank goodness...I needed a shuttle fix! http://i928.photobucket.com/albums/a...ns_thumbs1.gif

Not to my knowledge, I've never heard of one armed, and they're owned by NASA usually, not the USAF. It's based off the F-5, the T-38 is only used in training as a supersonic trainer (the first one actually). If there were an emergency the Air National Guard would have to be called.

And trust me those things are loud, especially in 4-ship formation.

I though I once seen t38s at either robins or dobbins afb?

Anyone pilots here?

ec1990 01-22-2013 04:07 PM

I know a little, I don't think there's any based there, but could be flying around doing training.
