Who said it would? I honestly think it'll be late availability 2013/early 2014 but still 2014 model year. seeing it's being announced at Geneva next month.

If it goes into production early next year it can be a 2015 model.

They did the same thing with the Camaro. It's typical for new models.

Remember the saying, "Good things come to those that wait."
I would love to own both a C7 Torch Red Convertible along side my 2012 1LT Camaro Convertible, but that will never happen :( |
I have owned a convertible continuously since 1999. I think this time, I am going to go the coupe route. I may change my mind...Are there any pictures of the C7 convertible yet? That may change my mind. I waited on the Camaro convertible and even waited to the 2nd year of production...so I can wait again if need be....but most likely will start with the coupe.

Just an update: According to the introductory announcements in the Geneva show this past Tuesday- "The Corvette Stingray coupe and convertible arrive in global markets in late 2013..." http://www.corvette7.com/forums/showthread.php?t=281077
Chevrolet's main homepage and Stingray website now also has the Convertible images posted... http://www.chevrolet.com/new-2014-co...verview_01.jpg http://www.chevrolet.com/new-2014-co...verview_05.jpg Note: The Build-Your-Own functionality in Chevy's website no longer list the 2013 Corvette... in due time, we'll see the 2014 model available. :stingray: |
