Black C7 Corvette Stingray Spotted Testing in San Diego

He mentioned it was a friend of his who was driving it and that it had also recently been on the mountain. Anyway, wanted to share a few pics. This car is absolutely beautiful in person! ENJOY!

PS..we did ask about the 6th Gen Camaro. haha! And like all good employees who love their job...they had no comment. Very friendly guys who thanked us for driving GM cars. And no pics of the red one...we passed her on the mountain and it wasnt a good time to stop.

What is the slot in the rear that shows the screws and holes? Almost looks unfinished.

Yep, but I bet those items will be fix on production cars. This is a test car we have to remember.

I didn't think Black would look that good on this car but it still looks pretty damn mean! I think the grey with black wheels would look even more badass!

WOW! Black looks crazy hot! Would never work in the northwest where I live since it rains so much. Maybe I could have roadies that wipe it down before I take it out. I am still hoping that inferno orange comes out in production or I'll settle with Lag blue but black definitely looks stellar. License plate suggestions for black: EVIL - SINFUL - STEALTH - DRKNITE.

It looks a bit HDR's looking at the reflections on the front of the vehicle as well as the sky. Not too edited, but to me it looks slightly edited.

One thing is for sure, it was taken with a very good camera. Pics are very sharp in detail and that looks like a great location for pics, even the look of the concrete parking lot with its weathered appearance and shading from the trees looks cool. :rockon:

Also just noticed the small antenae on top of the roof. It's measuring something specific as it's not just on the roof but raised about 150mm off with a bracket of some type.

Might just be a radio or infotainment thing to check reception. But I've been around a lot of test cars over the year and this is the first time I've seen an antenae like this one.

I passed the red, and the gray stingrays in east county. Rancho SD. They look phenomenal in person.
