Nawambo~ Have you inquired or signed up for the track attack at Utah Motorsports? Free to 1st/orig owners of Boss 302s... I haven't yet but I plan to. I also need to purchase the darn Red Key. Procrastination...

Stingray, not yet, though I can't wait to do the track attack, since I want to track it anyway and I have to "relearn" how to track it, as I've been tracking an AWD STI for the past four years. Hoping to do an autocross first just to better grasp how to handle a hugely powerful RWD. Hoping to do Track Attack sometime by the end of this year. Apparently, it fills up really quick.

I wanted Red Key, then heard on TheMustangSource (I'm Nawambo there too) that it can void your warranty :noidea: I'll probably get it, but for now, this is still a LOT of fun with "only" the White Key.

^ Yup Track Attack fills up fast!

I read the 3/36 warranty is intact with the Red Key in use:
"If any issues occur due to the TracKey installation, the warranty coverage is 3 yr/36,000 miles, however, any other concerns falling under the normal powertrain warranty will be covered for 5 yrs/60,000 miles."

Hmmm, glad to hear. It was a lot of back and forth and "My dealer told me" rhetoric. I'll probably get it either way.

I know im a bit off but.......What are these magical colored keys you all speak of???

Nawambo 02-07-2013 12:24 PM

White Key: Normal key
Red Key: Track key - recalibrates hundreds of engine points to make it Raaaace car ;)
