shop offers 900HP package...
So, I ran across the link below for a shop that offers a ZL1 900HP package. I'm not questioning if they can do it or not. I'm just looking at their list of mods and see a lot of mods I have (highlighted in RED) and wondering. With out addressing any fuel system limitations. Is it really the heads, CAM and Meth that's making this big 900HP? The package lists these mods: CAR PERFORMANCE 900HP PACKAGE INCLUDES

The meth allows them to spin the blower faster and make more boost to get to the 900 hp level. I’m sure it’s legit, but I’d rather build without meth. Of course it would probably require a 2650 to get there.

ok cool.... I thought it was RWHP not crank.
So meth is better then say a interchiller due ot the fact that it's spraying directly into the air intake/cylinders vs just cooling |

Pretty sure the OP thought the "900" package was rated at the wheels. It's a crank hp rating. As Josh mentioned that equals 750-770whp which is a run of the mill package.

Damn it... I need more parts / HP... not OK being "run of the mill" :(
HAHAHA |
? Or run more boost (with at least an X-port 1740), with all the bolt-ons, with all the E' (and PI and an aux' pump) and make that kind of power without cracking into the engine ?
It wouldn't have a cool chop though... |

So, as I'm typing this post. I know a 34% or 38% CAM is in my future. Maybe not the near future since spring/summer is right around the corner. But, this fall when the weather turns to SH. The engine will come out and the built will happen accordingly. I might have a one of the many reputable shops here on the forum do the work. But, I've been inspired by what SOCAL.M6.ZLE has done with his! So I might just do the work myself! Regardless, my build still doesn't have the one thing I want most: A choppy idle !

My "run of the mill" build is a lot of fun for a street car and more than enough for the street. Anything more is impossible to use, unless in Mexico with drags.
