PYROLYSIS 01-26-2013 05:18 PM

Is this like when ZL1 parts were available before it's release? Maybe we can all pitch in and build one early. :)

Ahead of the dang game. Touché.

Tran 01-26-2013 06:20 PM

What a nice birthday gift! Thanks for sharing.

Angrybird 12 01-26-2013 07:31 PM

That's cool. I say GM will be selling a bunch of those over the parts counter after the car comes out.

I would probably get a Diecast like your 63 and mount it to a wooden plaque and attach one of the emblems to it.

Camaro_Corvette 01-26-2013 08:48 PM

Awesome gift for sure!

CowboyCorvette 02-07-2013 03:59 PM

It's probably under the two sided tape. The bag it came in should have had the part number on it though if he still has it.

Hey, mine are in the form of a pin. I got a couple of these. I went to the press event located here in NYC, thanks to my wife. It was nice. Lots of other generation Vettes plus the star. I met Chief Engineer Tadge Juechter and got to sit in the car. Good horderves and drinks too! I almost forgot that I also got the press kit which was located in a cool Corvette branded thumb drive.

As you can see, I placed one pin on the lapel of my Corvette Racing jacket. The other lives in my watch case.

Looks like you had a great time !

Did you notice if the seating height is any different than the C6....to me in the pictures the C7 almost looks a little taller ?

Glad you got to go there :)

GaBoy25 02-12-2013 06:25 PM

You can tell he wants to break in to a full :D grin like a little kid.

I actually don't recall any difference in the seat height. I can tell you that it seemed easier to get in and out of the drivers seat than my C6.

Cool that's good to hear....the C6 always seemed a little to low seat position wise whenever I sat in one....Can't wait to try the new C7 !
