Gradually feeling a little bit better each day. I'm taking it easy & gradually increasing my activity. Went to work yesterday but stuck to the elevator & no stairs, parked closer & did not carry anything heavy. Today, & took the stairs slowly. Alternating heat & ice. Had another chiropractor appt yesterday & another one tomorrow. Hope it continues to improve. Pain is less but I still feel stiff & have to be really careful how I move. Old sucks. But I am happy to not be in so miserably much pain. I'll take it.

Hang in there Jan! Are you doing any physical therapy?

RubyCamaro 02-08-2017 06:41 AM

Did that last year. Did not really help & caused a couple more injuries. I learned a couple of stretches that help sometimes but not with this episode.

69supersport396 02-08-2017 09:13 AM

Glad you are feeling better Jan.

My pains from this past weekend are gone, but I am sure there will be new pains this weekend.

:thanks: The truck is my pride Bought new in 1992.Drove part of the 1st winter then started doing all this to it. It is a 92 SS/454. I took the motor out and dropped a 350 T B I in it. It has only 37,000 mi. on it and still the original Drums, rotors & shoes on it. No coil springs,no shocks, or leaves it is all air bag ride. 10 way switches for the bags. Removeable steering wheel. That is all paint on the body and tail gate is air brushed. It was painted in 1998 for 25 grand.

RubyCamaro 02-09-2017 08:42 PM

Great pics!

Spring has sprung in Tennessee in February. Still a bit of a weather roller coaster but today & yesterday in mid 60's to 70. A bit cooler this week then back up again. That has been the pattern for a while now. My bulbs are confused.

Ruby are you sure you wouldn't like to live up here in Central N.Y. We got about 8 in" of snow. Just a few miles North of where I live they got 116 inches of snow last week in 10 days. Just think of all the fun you could have. :iono:

RubyCamaro 02-12-2017 07:26 PM

Way too old for that crap! Had my share when it used to snow way more here when I was a kid. Now I just can't handle it. Don't know how you guys deal with it. Hope your weather breaks soon.

Rick we have found a Place for next year already in Sun City. Hell or highwater I'm bringing my Camaro next trip. I enjoyed the Camaro's on the London Bridge they had over a 100 this year...

69supersport396 02-16-2017 11:41 PM

Cool! Some friends from Canada are staying here in the valley for winter, and will be bringing their car next year. Lots of car stuff going on here during the winter.

It will be a blast!

Trickskier 02-17-2017 05:05 AM

Happy Friday Everyone!!! :happy0180:

Speedweeks at Daytona begins this weekend! Headed down today to check out the motor coach I rented for the week.

Gerry S 02-17-2017 07:22 AM

I'm retiring in three months. I live in Upper New York State. I call it the desolate state because winter runs from November to April so the Camaro stays in the garage for 6 months. I can't wait to leave for good. Looking to retire in South Carolina in the Myrtle Beach area.

Good for you - I have about 5 - 6 years before I can retire. Myrtle Beach is nice but very commercialized due to the tourism. I travel to South Carolina every month and I like Charleston the best. Best of Luck on your retirement!!!

RubyCamaro 02-17-2017 05:34 PM

Yeah, good for you Gerry S! I'm so jealous. I'm hoping to cut back to part time next year then maybe the next year retire.

SkipNWis 02-17-2017 09:31 PM

Rick if you have time they have a Chevy SS Sedan at the AutoNation chevy dealership on BELL RD. They tried to convince me to Trade my Camaro in for it.. Six speed manual LOADED only feature it didn't have was a sunroof. Recros,Brambos SWEET ride...I was so tempted<< A Camaro with 4 doors lol

69supersport396 02-17-2017 11:37 PM

I would say keep your Camaro, but you seldom do. ;)

I'm not a fan of those SS Sedans.

...we did check out an awesome antique store in Cottonwood, AZ.

Larry's Antiques and Things is right on the main drag through Cottonwood, not far from Sedona, where we are staying the weekend. The place is huge and contains the largest assortment of stuff I've ever seen. Here is a small sampling of antiques and stuff.

I go in those places. I can't have money in my pocket and I give the credit cards to the wife for certain reasons. LOL

I know what you mean. But I only bought that old Barrett Jackson pen. It was cheap enough.

RubyCamaro 02-19-2017 09:40 PM

Cool stuff. Not sure what is going to happen to that kind of stuff after our generation is gone. The most of kids today care nothing about history or antiques.

I finally was able to get the Z out for a cruise today. Turned over 700 miles on it. I had forgotten how much fun it is to drive. Took the back roads to the in-law's house & spent some time with them. Came home & got in the hot tub. I need more days like this.
