Canada build and price up

Hey everyone,

long time lurker, first time poster. Recently ordered my 2016 Camaro. I know a few of the Canadians here were all anxiously waiting for the Canadian build and price to see all the option prices. Some of it is still a bit glitchy (V6 can only be selected after you select Dual mode performance exhaust)

Well there is some good news, most individual dealer sites now have the build and price up! (Surprised they beat out GM.CA).

Here is a link to one but most should have it up.

*UPDATE*
gm.ca site is now live.

Thanks for posting, I still don't expect the GM Canada website to be updated by Christmas, because they ALWAYS lag behind.

1ss with NPP $970 and front facsia $670 is /45,900. With tax its $51,800 LOL
This is a dealer build site not GM.

Are the financing rates the Gm rates on this website? 0.99% for 60 months? That's great!

Check the London dealership website, they don't post the admin fee.

Speaking to a few dealers, they are saying those are 99% going to be the Cdn prices. Unless they are just saying that and they really don't know.

That is just showing the current promotion, I really doubt we will see 0.99% for the 2016 Camaro right off the bat

You obviously haven't checked lately. We were almost on par for a while, but our dollar is floating around 74 cents vs. the US dollar right now. It's expected to stay below 80 cents until 2017 from what I have read.

You never know what the exchange rates will be with the crap that is going on with the world. Especially after today's event just the news alone has increase the prices of crude oil by 3 bucks... Normally, increases/decreases will be close to each other on a daily basis but after events unfolding anything can happen.

A question I had... Are there any penalties for purchasing a vehicle from the US for you Canadian Folks? I've know MULTIPLE people who have gotten evos from the US and taken it to Canada just because it is cheaper is what I was told. You guys still have to pay sales tax I would assume when it comes time to register the vehicle...

Tr6: We would still have to pay duties and tax when crossing the border, I think this will be first time in a while that buying from the states will be way more expensive then here. 4

For example 40k US in Canadian is about 53k, add on duties and taxes and it will hit the 60k mark as well. For the Canadian people here I would suggest just talking to your dealers, most are willing to work with you. I ended up getting about $3500 off MSRP

I ended up going with

2LT,
Manual
Hyper Blue

LGX 3.6L V6 DI VVT
NPP Dual Mode Exhaust System
ZN2 2LT Convenience & Light Package

While I wanted the V8, it just wasn't practical for me as a daily driver in Ontario, so settled for the V6

It's actually much cheaper in Canada.

A 2SS is only $35,465 US
