Range Tech AFM Disabler For 2021 or 2022 6.2 Camaros: Anyone Using One?
Just wonder if anyone here is using the RANGE Tech AFM Disabler for a 2021 or 2022 Camaro with the 6.2 LT1 engine?
My concerns are that: 1) Range doesn’t list products for Camaros. 2) Range specifically says NOT COMPATIBLE! Why would they say this? The AFM/DFM Disabler is NOT currently compatible with 2019+ 5.3L 10-speed or 6.2L 10-speed models. 3) Phastek specifically lists only 2010 to 2020 & Fits 2010-2019 Camaro SS. But I have seen videos of guys using them on 2021 and 2022 6.2 Camaros. Any advice appreciated. |
I have one on my 2008 5.3L Yukon XL and Love it! I hope they have one for the Camaro, but I haven't researched it yet.

I used it on my 2019 A10 for awhile (tuned now). Didn’t have any issues.

The best way is to call them and ask your questions.

Used it on my 2020 2SS since day one until sold at 25k miles. No issues

2022 - 2000 miles, no issues.

I have been researching this as well. My gut tells me it is because of the Auto stop/start being able to be disabled on the pickups. The RangeTech doesn't do that where the Pulsar does. Like others have said, a call to confirm it will work is a good starting point. They would not want to miss a sale if they have tested it - or they may not stand behind the product at all if they think it will do damage and therefore won't advertise it will work. |

I just installed one in my 21’ LT1 this week. Limited miles but works great. Makes me realize how busy the AFM is with Range unit installed.
