GM.... This is not the top you want to build.
http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-GOUnCdCJU8.../01+obewan.jpg You wan't to build a hard top. |
I'd get the coupe version.
|
I can't wait to see it when the covers come off.
|
Would you be happy if they offered a optional removable hardtop like they had in the early years?

EDIT: Not quite the open feel of a true convertible but I would settle for the removable top. Seems to be a decent compromise. http://www.infinite-garage.com/wp-co...008-medium.jpg |
Just looking at that pic, I don't know how you could make a hard-top OR a soft-top convertible and still attempt to remain true to the coupe's body lines...
|
They can make me a split window removable hard top.
|
It looks good with the top down from the other photos, but with the top up... no thanks. I prefer the targa top shown above.
|
Are we sure these are new? The coupe in the pics is still cammo'd up.

The renderings I have seen I read came from the Miasto Diecast Website...They must have gotten them from GM to produce a Diecast Corvette Convertible. |
Never been a convertible person, but that's a damn fine car right there.
