So last Friday I traded my 2017 Shelby GT350 that I thought I'd never get rid of in on a 2018 Camaro ZL1 1LE and all I can say is :hail:

I got the car in Hyper Blue and this car snaps necks at every light... I don't know what took me so long to come to the party but I'm here now and don't plan on leaving :pop2:

Welcome and great choice. You'll find many more former 'stang members coming here than vice versa (and for good reason :first: ).

Nice! I am ARS1 over there as well but I'll stop in from time to time over there and see what's going on. Now the wife want's me to trade my Focus RS in on a ZL1 or SS 1LE in Auto so she can drive one too :sm0: All of my cars are Manual aside from the Vette but happy wife happy life right :frusty: She's taking the Vette to pick our son up so I know it won't be long until she's in a Camaro as well...

I love it so far!!! I'll post some pics tonight. I have them on my phone but my work computer is a dinosaur so... The windows are being tinted right now so I'll have even more pics tonight.

I'm just curious as to how you like the ride. We recently heard it from a Hellcat owner that the ride is "terrible, just terrible"...worst thing ever, lol!! I don't think it should feel bad at all but I'd like to know your impression. How do you like it? Are you using it for DD stuff or just a weekend/track racer? How does it compare to your GT350? I bet it's worlds apart!!

The ZL1 is the best riding car I have in my current fleet and better than my GT350 was. It absorbs bumps and misaligned sections of concrete road so well that I sometimes forget about them being there.. whereas even my X5 and BRZ have a tendency to bang and crash over some of them.

Is your whole house a garage to cover that whole fleet?! You must have won the lottery in 2017 or something.... Welcome regardless.

I am 99% sure the SS 1LEs are manual only, just fyi.

Traded my 14 VMP 5.0 for my ZL1 1LE.

Not even a little upset.

I'm back in the camp of STILL buying the ZL1 1LE, but I'll probably keep the Hellcat as a family car.

And yeah, the ZL1 1LE ride is terrible because it's designed for track/road course and not commutes. It's NOT an insult to point that out and keep it real. My use would be the awesome LA mountain roads and a bit of Willow Springs.

As much as I realize the ZL1 with an aero package would be "smarter" I still love the 1LE more. But I reserve the right to change my mind in 12 minutes.
