Buffalo isn't a big show.

LA, Detroit, Chicago, New York. Those are your major US auto shows. Everything else is just meh.

Anyone go yet or may plan to go to the Chicago auto show this Saturday? I'm headed out from Seattle on Friday and was thinking of stopping overnight in Chi-town so I can go to the show and see the :stingray: :D

I've been there 3 times already: Thursday-Friday-Saturday.
Between the 3 days I spent over 22 hours at the show.
That's normal isn't it? :D

I think I took over 150 pictures of the C7. :lol:

Exhibit B: the 2014 Corvette Stingray. Torch Red. Just shy of 15 feet long. Curves in all the right places.

The crowd around the Seventh Generation Corvette on Sunday was as thick as at Taste of Chicago — if they were giving out free deep-dish and turkey legs. It was Chicago’s first look at the 2014 ’vette.

People held up their cellphones as if they were at a rock concert, asking Aragona to step away from the car so they could capture images of the sweet, sweet ride.

Wasn't at the DC auto show :( they had signs everywhere that read: "We regret to inform you that the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette C7 is not on display. We apologize for any inconvenience"

Ya, even though the paper had stated it would be there. I also inquired with one of the Chevy folks and he explained to me how there are, and I quote: "Only two built right now, one is in Detroit and one went to Barrett Jackson..." :nono:

I'm headed to the Chicago auto show this Saturday! I was able to get a 6 hour layover... that should give me a 3-4 hour window to jump in a rental car at Midway, drive to McCormick Place, drool at the Stingray for a while, and then scoot up to O'Hare to catch my 7:20pm flight back to FL! :D
