Time between order accepted and target production week?
 

Per my dealer, GM accepted my order on/about Oct. 15th. He told me yesterday he is waiting for a Target Production Week. Any idea on how long this could take?:noidea:

Order placed Sep 24 and accepted by Chevrolet on Oct 26. Built Dec 3-4. Pick up at the Museum Dec 16th. 39 days from acceptance to being built. Gotta be a record...

About 10 weeks from order entered to status 3100.

Then it appears that my order went from status 3100 to 3800 in a matter of days.

Automatic 1LT coupe, non-Z51, stock roof.

Planning for the purchase of a C7 minutes after the unveil 1.13.13 I need to 'vent' the process so that I don't drive people crazy by talking about it non-stop.
My wife and I placed the order at the Martin-Chevrolet yesterday. Tom got all the information, Steve checked it over and over again with us to ensure all bases were covered and Ed gave us a brochure and accessory catalog that I should wear gloves when viewing as they are a keepsake, beautifully done. MRSP with no additional fees besides the usual state and federal stuff, they are committed to growing their Corvette business by building a dealership based on repeat business not just the one timers. Oh yeah, they provide lifetime oil changes. I wish all at Martin-Chevrolet in Crystal Lake, IL good luck in achieving their goal.
I will keep this updated with codes and dates so that it may help others in their planning.

About 2 1/2 months from order placed to delivery. That's with a few week delay due to carbon fiber roof constraint. Order placed 11/29/13, at dealer 2/13/14, picked her up last Thursday.

Man,,I'm really feeling sorry for some of you guys. That wait is insane, but I can assure you, the car is definitely worth it.
