Glad to see they are sticking with a rear wheel drive V8 car and back to a 2Door!

Is that hood going to be legal?

I thought they were flat in Nascar?

Hood and front-end, legal? they gotta fit the same COT jig, don't they?

But what a sweet looking car! too bad all the damn sponsor stickers will ruin those lines!

Nascar version looks taller than production with the enlarged window height. Is this for real?

They went away from all cars meeting the same template a while back, so the manufacturer can have some room to play even though there are definitely some requirements they have to meet.

It is, was announced today. They needed a replacement for the SS and this is what was announced.

NASCAR cars (is that redundant?) have literally nothing in common with the production cars they are supposed to be.

Really! Then I just might be a Nascar fan again! Hated the whole COT thing. Might as well be Indy with only difference being driver and engine maker.

Looks cool !!!

I always wondered why they used sedans instead of coupes in NASCAR. Will Ford be using the Mustang?

COT lasted from 2007 - 2012.

In 2013 NASCAR allowed the car manufacturers to design a brand new body style for the CoT chassis so that they would better resemble the street legal versions of what the sport's fans could purchase and drive. Another hope of the Generation 6 car was that it would give more grip and speed to the drivers and more great racing action to the fans.
