Need some help with Florida dealers

I am planning to order a Stingray Coupe w/Z51 package. However, I am overseas until October. Does anyone know any Florida dealers that are accepting orders? I have tried calling a few but they keep saying they have no info. My brother will be placing the order for me, I just need to let him know where to go. Thanks for the help.

Go to the C7 section of the Chevy website and enter your Florida zip code to find dealerships who will be getting C7 allocations. They should also be able to order.

Pretty sure Stingray Chevrolet near Tampa was accepting orders.

Another option would be to order from BeckyD@RodgersChevrolet and have it delivered to a dealer of your choice. Becky will treat ya right! No games no BS.....

Greenacres Chevy only has 16 allocation units for the first 6-9 months and all 16 are spoken for with deposits. They're in the no. 20's now... so still a waiting game.

Pretty sure that's the only dealership you can name that's in Florida.

Try Auto Nation in Pembroke Pines, 866.511.1263. They are right in the Hollywood/Ft. Lauderdale area. My concern is another wait to get on the list in this high population area.

Hey all, my brother has called most of the places listed here and everyone put him on a waiting list so far. But the good news is he found a dealer through a friend and he might secure a spot tomorrow

Also a side note I forgot to add. I will be leaving overseas again in Jan or Feb. I'd like to bring the vette with me. HOWEVER, my brother was informed by a few dealers that Chevy has an agreement stating you are not allowed to ship one out of the country until 1 year has passed. Another dealer said if the car's status goes from "new" to "used" you are allowed to ship it. This is really conflicting info, if anyone has any insight into this I'd appreciate some guidance.

Overseas for military assignment? If so, the rule may not apply. Base HQ should be able to advise. If not military, I am not sure used less than one year old makes a difference.

Non-military overseas.

I've tried searching for an answer to the 1 year rule but haven't come across anything. 2 dealers have told me I can NOT ship it overseas until 1 year has passed. Another dealer swears on his life that there is no such rule and he's trying to get me to pre-order.

Also a side note, I checked the price where I'm at and chevy over here in the middle east is planning to sell it for $75,500 starting in December.
