Cargo Shade Problems and/or Dislikes?...

I'm buying all the extras until my C7 gets here so I can drive away complete.

I've ordered the things I want except for the Cargo Shade.

Patrick, at GM Parts House, said I should ask about problems and dislikes of the Cargo Shade here because some have reported problems and some hate it.

So this question goes to the Cargo Shade owners, what do you like about it and/or what are your complaints?

Thank you in advance!

I would double check to see if it's already included standard with your vette. My 2LT came with the cargo shade and net. I haven't really used mine but it looks nice and neat.

I'll check and see if its included. If not, I'll order it after I get my car.

3LT came with the shades. Not sure about problems but I enjoy having them cover up the back of my car so you can't see the trunk.

2LT includes the top and bottom shades... but no logo on either.

The bottom shade is stupid looking and I have decided not to install.

Prior to picking up the car I purchased the top and bottom shades from GM Parts House. I didn't know the car came with them. I use the GM Parts house top one because of the flags logo....

So now I have an extra top shade (no logo) and 2 bottom shades (neither with logo)

Works for me

I have both shades installed as well as the cargo net. Probably have gotten more use out of the net for securing things in the back. The shades have been helpful a few times when placing a larger item in the back. They are easily removed from anchors if need be.

no problems here - I think it works well - get a cargo partition and your problems of small stuff sliding are solved. The shades wash well too, just restring them and let them air dry

Yes, comes with 2/3LT. The bottom shade is a great way to keep tall items upright and not fly back on acceleration. Allows for quick grocery runs. LOL.

I like them for all the same reasons mentioned here. Also I think the bottom shade is an improvement over the C6, because it is tied at the bottom and not only limits things rolling around but stops the wind from blowing the shade when the windows are open or the Top is off.

Love mine.

Just picked up my cargo partition from Dan with exoticvette and I am really impressed how well it matches my black interior. And like Glen said will stop from all my "stuff" from sliding around.
