I used to have a water dragon or two. They were pretty cool little critters to have around. :) Of course, I had a whole room full of tanks with various reptiles in them so I never really got to spend too much time with just one. Actually kind of glad I don't have to take care of all of that anymore.

I have 3 Golden Retrievers over the years. Once you've been owned by a Golden, you'll never chose another:

Blazer, passed away 4 years ago
Tahoe, 8 yrs old, darker color
Yukon, 3 yrs old, blonde

Can you tell that we are a GM family??

My Coon Hounds.

Ham Bone (Hammy) is a Red Bone, and Putt'n on the Ritz (Ritzy) is a Black and Tan.

We've had Hammy for about 5 years, and have had Ritzy for a little less than a year. Hammy's about 7 years old and Ritzy is about 3.

Both dogs were rescued and we love them immensely. I finally took some new pics.

We just added a new rescue heeler (Foster). Here he is on the left beside Aussie. He is still very much a puppy and we are learning again what it's like to have a young dog. Ugh!

Queensland Heelers are some of my very favorite dogs. By far the smatest and toughest dog I've ever seen was a Heeler. They used to be my favorite breed but now that I've had hounds I'd have to say heelers are a close second. But, still, great great dogs.

When my wife and I got married back in 1998, we rescued 2 cats from the shelter ( I cannot find my pics). Since that day she was trying to talk me into getting small dogs. I was not into it AT ALL. It took her 5 years and she finally talked me into one. Nip (the one without the white stripe on her head), was so awesome we got a second one. They are Papillons.

They are big dogs in little bodies, the 7th or 8th smartest Dog breed and number 1 in the TOY breed. They are much like Border Collies. They are the most focused of the smaller breeds and do not over bark or yap at all. The last pic was our 2007 Christmas card!

THIS IS NIP AND CHEVY:

The old girl sleeping was "Rabies". She lived to 14. Couldn't have asked for a better dog. The one on the steps is "Bandit". He is the most worthless dog you could ask for. Lazy, sniffer hardly works, never could get him to play and he has grown into an overstuffed sausage with legs. When someone he knows comes over he gets excited. Instead of a normal beagle sound he gets worked up and sounds like someone is beating him with a 2x4. Many people have asked us what is wrong with him and we just have to say he's happy to see them. If it weren't for the wife and kids he would sleep with the fishes.
