NEW BOLT ONS SI RECORD!! 11.31 @119.36
 

Well I set out over a year ago to become the fastest Bolt On Only car and finally got my prize! Went to Royal Purple Raceway last night with hopes of getting that perfect run and I was blessed with 2 perfect passes.
First pass of the night was an 11.34 @119.17.
Next pass was 11.31 @ 119.36. DA was around -400 not the killer -1000 I had last time but still great.

So here is what we did.
Since my last trip to the track a month ago I ran 2 11.453 passes an 11.451 and some 11.47-11.50. There was always some minor issue with each pass. Slightly spin, or stayed in staging lanes for 2+hours and unable to control oil temps for max power which left me just thousands of a sec short from Terry's record time.

I had some things I wanted to try. First I called Andy at ADM and told him my plans. He told me "I tell you what, let's don't take any chances on this, we will put it on the dyno 1 last time and get every last HP out of it. He took what I wanted and tweaked the tune! It was SET ON KILL an ALL OUT MAX EFFORT tune! We threw as much timing as it would hold and we were dynoing it in the exact same temp that I would be racing in so the fueling was dead perfect!
I left the shop with about 3more RWHP AND 3 more TQ!
Andy went way past what I have expected him to do on this tune. He even took wheels off of his V Just to get a more accurate dyno reading.
Big thanks to ADM for putting me over the hump and helping set that record! I appreciate all their cooperation and hard work.

Awesome job Jeff. Andy was talking about it the other day with me about you going down to try again. That will be a hard one to beat for sure.

Thanks guys, I'm very satisfied with that time. Now it's time to move on to the next level. Still deciding on what I'm gonna do. I've been teetering between 2 options so we will see.

Yes stock driveshaft and stock suspension. Rhino modded intake.

Awesome! Just curious if your stock DS was still holding up? I guess its either hit or miss? That's a good 60ft for a stock suspension too. What was your race weight?
