Heading over there tomorrow. Really looking forward to checking it out!

Gotta agree with you, Turtle. Pictures just don't do the Concept Camaro any justice. And that goes for both the Coupe and Convertible.

If anyone has not yet seen either of these Camaro Concepts in person, I would urge you to make the effort to do so. There're amazing!

Better go quick someone at the show told me it was only there for this past weekend and then they were moving it to some other show? Not sure if that is true.

ChevyNut,

We in the WMCC have had the good fortune to have had many opportunities to be around the Camaros Concept. I've been around all three, quite a bit. They are all amazing in person. You'll be thrilled when you finally get to see the Concept "in the flesh". The convertible is stunning!

But, one couple in our Club has one over all the rest of us. Last summer there was a writer from Esquire magazine that wanted to write an article about the Camaro Concept. Well, it seems, that back in the late 80's he owned an IROC-Z, so Chevrolet contacted this couple from our Club. They have a black '85 IROC-Z, and were asked to meet at the GM Proving Grounds in Milford, Michiagn. They watched the writer take the silver Concept for a test drive around the Proving Grounds, and at the end, got to drive it themselves! Needless to say, they are the envy of the rest of our members.

It was a cool thing, and I'm very happy they got that special opportunity.

Thanks for these pics, what did you think seeing it there?

MintStick 03-04-2007 09:34 PM

Hi all! New member. That's a kiiler orange color. I saw a '68 at Detroit Autorama and again at Camaro Superfest with similar paint. The owner said it was Sherwin Williams tri-color and cost about 20m to complete. Any chance the general will offer that paint as an option?

Moose 03-05-2007 07:37 AM

Thanks for the pics.!

Welcome MintStick ;) As for that color being offered, not that I'm aware of. But I wouldn't be surprised if an orange was one of the options. ;)
