This thread is here to remember the C7s that have gone on to the great scarp yard in the sky and to serve as a daily reminder of the following:

1) No matter how good advanced electronics are they can not overcome the laws of physics. They also do not prevent improper driver inputs.

2) Stay alert, stay alive. Always watch for the other guy.

And that latest one (CGM coupe) is quite scary... if that was a MV accident, hope the driver/passenger is okay. :pray:

The C7 in the second pic held up pretty good vs that Towncar.

Anybody know what happened here?

Apparently it was a special needs person who somehow had a driver's license. And people present said it looked like he knew exactly what he was doing when he wrecked those cars.

No kidding? That is nuts.

And it took a solid hit. You see how far past the intersection they ended up.

Yeah, not 100% sure but it sounds like he even made a second pass at them before stopping short.

It says in the opening post why it is here. As soon as the C7 rolled off the assembly line a wave of high profile accidents hit the web. It never hurts to get a reminder of what can happen when you get stupid or distracted.

Not all are due to stupidity or distraction. Some folks can't help what other folks do, can't always blame the owner for others mistakes. :fear:

And that is what point #2 in the opening post is all about. :thumbsup:

I think this is the good side, you can tell the hood and windshield are destroyed, the passenger side is probably in worse shape because you can't really tell what tore this up from driver side.

I was not able to find any info on that one.
