How Long Will Delivery Take?
Hey everyone, I'm going to be ordering a C7 with the Z51 package around March 7 and was wondering how long I should expect to wait until I take delivery at my dealership?
I know that there are a lot of different variables that go into it and that there's no way of knowing for sure, but I'm just looking for a general estimate/guess. I am ordering from a small dealership that is just getting their license to sell the Corvette around March 2. I haven't been following the forums much lately so I wasn't sure if there was still a constraint on Z51's? Thanks in advance, I know this car will be worth the wait! :hail: :c7: |

As the spymaster said, six weeks unless it arrives quicker or takes longer. The Z51 option remains on limited constraint and there is no way a dealer with a small number of allocations can be certain he will be able to get an order thru with that option. When time comes that your order can be matched against allocation you may be told the order can not proceed unless changed. Or it may go thru as ordered; you will not know until that moment of decision arrives.
Also allocations must be used, if not by the original dealer than by another dealer, to keep production moving. If the original dealer does not use it at that moment, that allocation is gone, not just for that ordering period, not just for that model year, but also for the next model year. Which is why six or eight dealers get half of the allocations: in the past they took allocations that other dealers let pass. Laborsmith |
Thanks guys! Wow 5-6 weeks would be great, I was honestly expecting it to be longer since it's a new generation.
I'm going to visit the dealership this week and make sure that they definitely have an allocation for me. Hopefully I can get lucky and take delivery before May. |
Ordered my Stingray on Dec. 30th. It's a 2LT, Z51, A6, Mag Ride, NPP & NAV. Car was built on Feb. 10th and shipper had the car on Feb. 14th. If dealer is correct it will arrive on Feb. 26th. That's nine weeks total.

Then why is it I have been waiting for my C7 for over 4 months. It has been at 1100 status for over 4 months. Is there anything I can do. hamothare

What Kochaloch ^ said. Allocation is the big problem, constraints could be but I doubt it as dealers (at least for me) will tell me that if I drop an option on constraint the order will proceed and you have not indicated that has happened.
